When you order products from BON APPETIT you can be assured we will ship your merchandise with the utmost care. We use only the best shipping processes to deliver products that are fresh and simply superb right to your door! Please check the information below to review our shipping policies.
* NOTE * Please check all addresses carefully. BON APPETIT guarantees delivery only to the addresses that we are provided with. If we are unable to deliver the package, we will return your order to our store. If the product arrives in good condition, we can send the package back out to you and charge you only the shipping and handling. If the product does not arrive in good condition, you will be responsible for the charges of a new order.
All items are shipped from our store in Princeton, New Jersey. We strive to ship orders the same day they are placed, but in some instances orders may require 1-2 business days to prepare.
For ground shipping, orders placed Monday-Friday at 2p.m. Eastern Standard Time (EST) will ship that day. Orders shipping via ground shipping will arrive within 5 - 10 business days. Also, please note that Saturday and Sunday are not counted in the transit times. Orders placed after 2pm on Friday that will ship the following Monday.

UPS requires a signature for delivery and someone must be present to accept the delivery with a signature unless otherwise requested.
Please note that all perishable items are automatically shipped NEXT DAY (next business day) to ensure your product arrives in superb condition. All fresh and frozen food products are carefully packaged to maintain optimum quality. As needed, your order will be packed with dry ice or ice packs and placed in an insulated container for shipment.
We guarantee delivery only to the address you provide. Shipments that you re-direct and shipments to incorrect or incomplete addresses cannot be guaranteed to deliver on time. We do not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
BON APPETIT and its carriers will not ship or deliver on the following days:

Bon Appetit takes great pride in selecting the finest products available. If for some reason, you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it for replacement, credit or refund. Unfortunately, we do not accept returns of perishable items. We do not accept returned items that were purchased in one of our retail locations, nor will our retail locations accept returned items purchased from our website. We will accept non-perishable returns within 30 days of receipt. We cannot send a replacement, credit or refund for the purchase until we have the product back in inventory. If the product does not arrive in good condition to return to stock, then we will not be able to send a replacement, credit or refund for the purchase.
Wrap the package well, include the return form found on the back of the packing list/invoice enclosed in your order and ship it to us at the address below. Remember to insure it for full value. You are responsible for the return shipping charges; shipping charges are not refundable.
